Banting & Friends XI
June 20 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us on Thursday, June 20 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm for a fun evening featuring local artists, sculptors, photographers and painters in celebration of Sir Frederick Banting’s passion for art.
Located at Banting House National Historic Site, where Sir Frederick Banting conceived the idea that led to the discovery of insulin, this event honours his legacy and passion for painting which began here in London.
We have partnered with a fantastic group of artists who embody the same spirit and passion. All displayed works will be available for purchase, with 50% of the proceeds going to support Banting House.
In addition to fine fare and art, there will be a silent auction featuring a variety of dining and entertainment opportunities. You can also enjoy the sights and sounds of the Old East Village; local craft beers, spirits, wines; and local cuisine.
Help us build greater community awareness about Sir Frederick Banting’s legacy, and support Banting House National Historic Site of Canada, Diabetes Canada, and the vibrant local arts community.
